Churches are unique structures in that they are often the cornerstone of the communities they serve. Their purpose and status transcend the physical nature of what a building physically is, yet presented in this state of decay, it functions as a reminder that no institution is beyond the ravages of time. Despite this, nature has taken over and is bringing new meaning and life into the space.
