This image was created in response to a visual representation of a cancer diagnosis. The initial diagnosis of cancer, or of any potentially fatal disease is often full of anxiety and fear, as everything in your life seems to unravel. However, it is important to understand and contextualize our thoughts and emotions particularly in stressful situations such as this. It is our thoughts and emotions that drive us, make us human, and bind us together in a shared experience. Drawing awareness to these feelings and experiences could help, or offer comfort to someone in a similar satiation and can begin a dialog of hope and compassion.
